This spirit rattle is of the Cretan snake goddess. I had a very good time glazing all the details of this elegant idol from Knossos as faithfully as I could. She dates back to 1600 B.C.E.

A regular at psychic fairs throughout Texas, Elka specializes in the ancient form of divination known as the runes. For nearly two millennia, the runes have been used for prophecy, healing and magic throughout Northern Europe.

Studying with both scholars and shamans, she has extensively researched the runes’ strong association with dreams and trance states. She is a solitary practitioner of sie∂r, the shamanistic magical system of the Norse and Germanic heathens.
